Privacy Policy

What's collected, what isn't, and how to get it deleted.

The short version

You can use every workout, program, timer, and tool on this site without giving us anything. There are no accounts. The only personal information collected is an email address, and only if you type one into the newsletter form yourself.

If you sign up for the newsletter

Three things are stored: your email address, which page you signed up from, and the date you signed up. Nothing else — no name, no IP address, no location.

It's used to send occasional new programs and progressions. It is not sold, rented, or shared with anyone else, and it isn't used for advertising. The data is held in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Railway, the platform this site runs on.

To be removed, email hello@militarycalisthenics.co and your address will be deleted from the database. You don't need to give a reason.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 and Mixpanel to understand which pages and tools actually get used — for example, how many people start a workout and how many finish it.

Both are configured to store nothing on your device. Google Analytics runs with storage consent denied, meaning it does not write analytics cookies. Mixpanel runs with cookies and local storage switched off, and with IP-based location lookup disabled. The practical effect is that neither service can recognise you on a later visit: every visit is counted as a new one, and there is no profile building up over time.

What is sent: the page path, the event name (such as "workout started"), and basic technical details your browser sends with any request, like screen size and browser type. Google and Mixpanel process this on our behalf as data processors, under their own privacy terms.

If you'd rather send nothing at all, any standard tracker blocker or your browser's "Do Not Track" / blocking settings will prevent both from loading. Nothing on the site depends on them.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. That's why there's no cookie banner — there's nothing to consent to.

Data stored in your own browser

Two features save data locally, in your browser's own storage. This never leaves your device and is not visible to us:

  • The training log keeps your recorded sessions.
  • The workout tools remember your voice-cue preference (on/off and which voice).

Clearing your browser data erases both. That also means the training log won't follow you to another device.

Children

This site isn't aimed at children under 13 and the newsletter shouldn't be signed up for by them. If you believe a child's email address has been submitted, email hello@militarycalisthenics.co and it will be removed.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what data is held about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Since the only thing stored is an email address you gave us, all three come down to one message. Email hello@militarycalisthenics.co and it will be actioned.

Changes

If what the site collects changes, this page changes with it. It was last updated in September 2026.
